Between April 15, 2008, and September 21, 2008, the American Folk Art Museum will be holding this exhibit: "Darger-ism" will examine the influence of
self-taught artist Henry Darger on contemporary artists currently
working within the mainstream. The exhibition will feature artworks in
a multiplicity of forms and media by eleven artists from the United
States and abroad in a visual discourse with a number of Darger's
narrative watercolors from the museum's permanent collection." |  |
